Think it needs simplifying, otherwise, i think it'll be hard to implement in a way that causes change.
Just my thoughts
On another note about complexity verses simplicity. I understand the need for both these and feel depending on the user the information can be sliced. So then the framework which sits behind needs to be complex and comprehensive to capture as much information as possible and needed. To that point then the interface I agree needs to honour laws of simplicity.
Hope this helps with my thinking and I agree with you just think defining whats required for what is critical.
Insight=Proposal for change
Significance=the effect the change will have/value added by change
Focus= Processes needed to execute the change
Help= Understanding where you are and identifying the gap to where you need to go and how to appropriately resource to bridge that gap.
